Ebb & Flow is a multi-use public building designed to foster ecological awareness and engagement within a dynamic wetland landscape. The proposal responds to seasonal flooding and biodiversity needs through a floating pontoon foundation, glulam structural system, and low-impact materials like lime render and aerated concrete. The building blends community space, scientific research, and exhibition to create a shared interface between people and ecology. The architecture seeks to harmonize with the site’s natural rhythms while encouraging stewardship through design.
